Subject: Re: revised Zeta Pup RGS data From: Maurice Leutenegger Date: Mon, 21 Jun 2010 16:47:44 -0400 To: Janos Zsargo , David Cohen , Marc Gagne Hi all, OK, I looked at the Zeta Pup data some more, and decided that I needed to change some of the default settings. I have rejected "cool pixels", which are pixels or columns with locally high CTI, resulting in reduced count rates compared to neighboring pixels or columns. I have allowed the use of pixels on node boundaries, near the edges of CCDs, and next to (but not on) hot pixels. I think these settings give the best compromise of maximizing available data while avoiding systematic errors. Throw out the old data, and use the data at: https://webdrive.gsfc.nasa.gov/shortauth/maurice.a.leutenegger/Woz1e4C username = zetapuppis password = zetapuppis Now I'm really done, I promise!
