Subject: first stab at ISIS analysis of DoAr 21 From: mgagne@comcast.net Date: Fri, 11 Apr 2008 22:04:30 +0000 To: dcohen1@swarthmore.edu David, Here're are the results of my first ISIS run on the DoAr 21 on ruby (we're going to need a faster box to run the line modifier code). The 90% upper limit on vturb is 200 km/s. The column density is high, as are the temperatures, but we did see a big flare, so no surprise. Using a minimum of 3 counts per bin (optimal binning), red. chi sq. is 0.63. Happy trails, Marc [root@ruby]# more doar21_2t_all.par wabs(1)*xaped(1) idx param tie-to freeze value min max 1 wabs(1).nH 0 1 1.141573 1e-10 100 10^22 2 xaped(1).norm1 0 1 0.00158315 0 1 3 xaped(1).norm2 0 1 0.01477434 0 1 4 xaped(1).temperature1 0 1 1.366281e+07 1000000 1e+08 5 xaped(1).temperature2 0 1 4.996034e+07 1000000 1e+08 6 xaped(1).density 0 1 1 0 0 7 xaped(1).vturb 0 0 85.09612 0 100000 8 xaped(1).redshift 0 0 4.238715e-05 0 0 9 xaped(1).metal_abund 0 1 1 0 0 10 xaped(1).He 0 1 1 0 0 11 xaped(1).C 0 1 1 0 0 12 xaped(1).N 0 1 1 0 0 13 xaped(1).O 0 1 1 0 0 14 xaped(1).Ne 0 1 2.916364 0 0 15 xaped(1).Mg 0 1 1.147074 0 0 16 xaped(1).Al 0 1 1 0 0 17 xaped(1).Si 0 0 0.6855225 0 0 18 xaped(1).S 0 0 0.5143349 0 0 19 xaped(1).Ar 0 1 1 0 0 20 xaped(1).Ca 0 1 1 0 0 21 xaped(1).Fe 0 1 0.3928416 0 0 22 xaped(1).Ni 0 1 1 0 0
