Subject: TTS with recent x-ray grating observations From: Eric Jensen Date: Fri, 21 Nov 2008 16:50:03 -0500 To: David Cohen CC: Marc Gagne Hi David, As I just mentioned, here's my list of TTS/PTTS with grating observations in the recent literature. There may be others, but this is what I've come up with in a bit of searching today. For all of these, it would be useful to have a quick summary of what the x-ray spectra show in terms of density diagnostics, and also to have basic stellar data (L*, spectral type) so we can put them on our HR diagram figure. Telleschi Gudel, and Briggs (http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/nph-data_query?bibcode=2007A%26A...468..443T) have 9 TTS; they also have a nice table with stellar parameters, so no need to go digging for those. Their stars are: SU Aur, HD 283572, HP Tau/G2, V773 Tau, V410 Tau, DH Tau, BP Tau, DN Tau, as well as AB Aur (which is an earlier-type star: B9.5-A0). So for the above we should look at what they find in the x-ray spectra, but we're good for stellar parameters. Other TTS that we need both x-ray info and stellar parameters: T Tau ; http://adsabs.harvard.edu/cgi-bin/nph-data_query?bibcode=2007A%26A...468..529G; stellar params get complicated because it's triple...
