Fri, Mar 9:

IcelandAir #644 IAD - KEF (7:35pm - 6:20am); KEF - AMS (7:40 - 11:50); Note: the flight leaves from Dulles Airport, outside DC on Thursday night, March 8.

Herengracht 21, B & B (we'll have both rooms in the place).

We can walk around the Jordaan, our neighborhood, and then a little bit south to the Nine Streets [official and other], where there are small shops.

Quite a few ideas about where to eat.

On Friday evening, maybe we'll try to get an early dinner at Cafe de Klepel right near where we're staying.

If we want to go out after dinner, there are music options - two blocks (grachts!) - from our B&B is club called Bitterzoet where we could see the Rural Alberta Advantage. And GoGo Penguin is playing about a twenty a minute walk away.

Sat, Mar 10:

We can do a canal boat (tour or just self-guided). We can visit the Stedelijk Museum. We have a reservation to have a rijstafel dinner on the other side of the Vondelpark.

Sun, Mar 11:

Train from Amsterdam to Berlin, leaving Amsterdam Centraal at 1:05 pm and arriving at the Berlin Hauptbanhof at 7:55 pm.

We'll stay for three nights at the Circus Hotel, in Mitte. I think we're staying in one of the apartments (address Choriner Strasse 84).

Wed, Mar 14:

Train from Berlin to Amsterdam, leaving Berlin Hauptbanhof at 8:30 am and arriving at Amsterdam Centraal at 3:00 pm.

We'll stay at the Pulitzer Hotel, Prinsengracht 323, in a family suite. The hotel has a pretty awesome looking garden.

Thu, Mar 15:

IcelandAir #501 AMS - KEF (1:00pm - 3:10pm) to Reykjavik.

We are all staying one night in an AirBnB in Reykjavik - 12 Sorlaskjol Reykjavik, Vesturbaer 107.

Fri, Mar 16:

David and Rachel start the Swarthmore tour in the morning.

Anna and Bess fly home on IcelandAir #1645 KEF - IAD (4:45pm - 7:25pm).
