Glowing Pickle

• Send current through the pickle using a variac and watch it light up with a yellowish glow (from sodium D line). Supposedly sodium D line can be seen pretty clearly using a handheld spectroscope.
• Warning: Electric shock hazard! Don't touch pickle while it's being electrocuted. Also, aroma of sizzling pickle not too pleasant.
