Smash Your Hand

• Demonstrate inertia of rest.
• Gently rest the lead brick on your hand; whack the top of the brick with the hammer- lightly at first, then harder- just don't hurt yourself. Or, rest the lead brick on the piece of candy and whack the top of the brick with the hammer. Brick will absorb the blow, leaving candy (or knuckles) intact.
