Announcementsposted 12/13 The final exam is on Tuesday morning, December 16, at 9:00 AM in SC L26. (Note the room!) You can pick up graded midterms and my solutions in the box outside my office. I hope to have homework #7 graded for you by Monday. Assignmentsposted 12/13 The final exam will be like the midterms, in that you can bring your two sheets of equations plus one new sheet, and you'll be provided with material from the textbook appendices. But otherwise, it will be closed book. To help you prepare for the final exam — which will cover all the material this semester, including Chs. 19 and 20 — you can do these optional homework problems [pdf]. I'll post my solutions on Monday. Upcoming EventsCheck the departmental colloquium schedule. You should come to these talks. They are typically Friday at 12:30 in Rm. 199, and include pizza. There are telescope public viewings the second Tuesday of each month, at the Peter van de Kamp Observatory on the roof of the Science Center. The next one is on January 13, at 8 PM. |
